can rights and wrongs never be the other way around...?

My conversation with my dear friends...

On the title, Rahul says... "I think it's got to do more about perception, situation, assimilation. My view may be different from others, as long as 'I' believe it is right, I will go ahead with it!"

Adds Vishal... "The sad thing is everyone believes in the right and wrong. We are bound by the circumstances that we are born into, though we like to believe the contrary.. and try to live our lives as though we are not affected by the rights and wrongs that circumstances and society place on us. When someone can break away from these boundaries truly, I believe, there will be no right or wrong.
However, that is very difficult to achieve, not many can do that. We eventually just end up wishing that the right and wrong could somehow be the other way around.
Instead of wishing for a way around, we should seek to break away from the right and wrong... then we will find true freedom".

Just a random thought by him ... and because his hands were itching to type..
Is it wrong to do what you want to, when there are those who don't want you to or who will be hurt if you do? Is there some thing which all of us can mean and which all of us can know we mean when we all use the same word? How can we know that my word means what your word means? Does the fact that it is the same word make it less hard to know this?

What if there is no right or wrong? Should we fear that harm or loss must come to us all if we start to think this? Could god make it so? Could God make what is right right or, what is wrong wrong? Could God make the wrong thing right or right thing wrong?

So Vishal asks if you blindly believe in something, then is it right for you ? Even though, socially and circumstantially it is wrong? So you are saying right or wrong stems from our belief of what is right or wrong. But isn't your belief influenced by society and circumstances ?

Can I change that? Guess not. Fear again is the state of mind. But is still uncontrollable at times. May be fear does not exist in avatar, but exists in humans! Change is inevitable, fear loses the game when things go out of control. Fear is feared, then the solution being things going out of control to mitigate it is! Fear rules us or Should it be the other way around?!

Vishal believes fear is always there... it is primeval... can't avoid. Simply because we have a lot to lose by changing things... If we were in a no-loss position... that is if we had nothing to lose, then probably we can define our own rights and wrongs... but we simply don't because we fear losing.. the risk is high...

The technology freak concludes ... Hmmm.. Blindly beleiving is called having a strong gut!! You feel and know it is true. Each one has a life in common but each life has a different soul. Societies and circumstances are just another set of souls, we make the society. If I beleive it is true. It is. :)

  1. Right and wrong according to me CANNOT be defined or stated.

    It is subjective.

Something that is right according to one might be wrong according to another or even simply something wrong according to one might neither be right or wrong according to another.

I believe right and wrong is not something imposed by society, It is derived from one's own needs, desires and perception about life, perceptions of lessons learned from our lives and lives of other through strong observation and emotion.

It is ONLY our action is that is defined by the society.

    Society again is boundary specific!!!
