What makes you who you are?
Similarly, believe your instincts, believe your thoughts; believe in your dreams too. They have no proof, but show the courage to have faith in them. Show the strength in your beliefs. Go ahead, have a belief, but have it unconditionally and strongly! A belief that does not change with time, people, events or even situations. That will make you who you are.

Tolerance
How much does one tolerate? How much one can? Is it connected with one's maturity or just one's faith?
Faith that everything is going to set right. Maturity to accept that nothing can change. Whatever it is, I guess its just fine as long as one can remain fine, no mater what the reason is.
How long does it take for anyone to become what they are actually not? Blaming is the easiest route to take. Whether or not it sets you free of wrong doings, it definitely gives you a relief that you are not responsible for your behaviour. True character, as I have learnt, is of a person who remains unchanged irrespective of the situation the person is put through. Philosophy and values of life does not change due to situations. Situations may demand a lot out of you, true test is to stand strong against the stronger breeze demanding you to become what you hate becoming.
"I erred. Gave in to the temptation of soothing my temper by hurling choicest of abuses at some one who I care for more than my life. 32 years spent avoiding my mind to wander through the thicks, absolved temper by just a breath, suffocated temper by giving no door for its outlet and look at what I have done! May not be a big deal to some, but to me it is. Its not a confession, its a public apology".....thus cried my friend. Abuses are a part of every second statement to some, but to my friend it is not. Wondered if it was such a serious crime to abuse. It is I guess as I saw him trying to drown himself in his own tears. Uncontrollably breaking apart. It is a crime for him and I couldn't have agreed with him less. It was her who he hurt. Is temper so uncontrollable? Temper can bring an empire down. Whether or not she is hurt, he is. He is hurt that he hurt her.
I can see that he is unable to separate himself from the guilt of hurting her. Can we not stay calm? Not only it is good for us but even for the situation. Better be careful than be regrettful. Isn't love above all? Can it be so distant that you push your near one so far? The mind has great powers. Not only can it think, but also can set things right. Unfortunately we pause to neither think nor to set things right. We live in our own insensitive belief of being the right one always. Apologise! What do you lose! Do not get into a situation of you yourself not forgiving someone with an identical behaviour. Small life, small desires. If life was large, there could have been time to spare for unwarranted stuff. Make life large by opening your heart and mind to the art of fine living.
Apologies to her on my friend's behalf.

Critic?
Wonder what it takes for us to be nice?! Is it that difficult to not interrupt when someone’s talking, when someone’s explaining or when someone’s just giving a pause between a ‘speech’! Do we assume being dumb is only for the other person, or do we just believe that we are smarter than the other? Can there be no conditions attached? Cannot we display some amount of compassion towards others? We grew up being advised to never delete the word ‘why’ from our dictionary, was it because we now question every action of an individual? Guess we were better off when we were of a tender age, at least we were what we were supposed to be... Appreciating is not a daunting task, but may be earning it, is. The tongue is a weapon of mass destruction. We would definitely not like to be treated like the way we treat others, then why do we?! Attitude, Perception and Compassion are the key to lead a fulfilling life...
We will not live forever, may be December 21, 2012 is the last, but I am not even sure of tomorrow. Are you? Life will end, we will not even be here to know what others talk about us while we are gone. Accept it that you would want everyone to adore you and talk good while you don't remain in touch too... then why not feed them with that?
Am I like this? Are you like this? Don’t answer impulsively, think again, think of all the people you have been rude to, who made a difference in your life, who you have ridiculed, who you have never thanked, think of all the people who never did anything wrong to you... think, think, think!
Are all our actions justified? Are all our actions warranted? Every individual has their positives, positives so strong that we have no reason to believe that we are better than them.
They say, ‘be the change you want to see’..., but don’t you think the prerequisite is to believe in the change you want to ‘see’? Its never too late... apologize, forgive, thank you, sorry, smile, concern and care is what we need to bring into play more often. Expressly. We do not lose anything, but look at what the other person has gained and in return you!
Life is filled with mistakes, the other ingredients to change the taste are... realize and seek absolution, absolve and smile on.
Being NICE on a consistent basis is the key... Live and let live may be the motto of many, practice what you preach is what I believe in... So what do you want to be...?

can rights and wrongs never be the other way around...?
On the title, Rahul says... "I think it's got to do more about perception, situation, assimilation. My view may be different from others, as long as 'I' believe it is right, I will go ahead with it!"
Adds Vishal... "The sad thing is everyone believes in the right and wrong. We are bound by the circumstances that we are born into, though we like to believe the contrary.. and try to live our lives as though we are not affected by the rights and wrongs that circumstances and society place on us. When someone can break away from these boundaries truly, I believe, there will be no right or wrong.
Instead of wishing for a way around, we should seek to break away from the right and wrong... then we will find true freedom".
Just a random thought by him ... and because his hands were itching to type..
Is it wrong to do what you want to, when there are those who don't want you to or who will be hurt if you do? Is there some thing which all of us can mean and which all of us can know we mean when we all use the same word? How can we know that my word means what your word means? Does the fact that it is the same word make it less hard to know this?
What if there is no right or wrong? Should we fear that harm or loss must come to us all if we start to think this? Could god make it so? Could God make what is right right or, what is wrong wrong? Could God make the wrong thing right or right thing wrong?
So Vishal asks if you blindly believe in something, then is it right for you ? Even though, socially and circumstantially it is wrong? So you are saying right or wrong stems from our belief of what is right or wrong. But isn't your belief influenced by society and circumstances ?
Can I change that? Guess not. Fear again is the state of mind. But is still uncontrollable at times. May be fear does not exist in avatar, but exists in humans! Change is inevitable, fear loses the game when things go out of control. Fear is feared, then the solution being things going out of control to mitigate it is! Fear rules us or Should it be the other way around?!
Vishal believes fear is always there... it is primeval... can't avoid. Simply because we have a lot to lose by changing things... If we were in a no-loss position... that is if we had nothing to lose, then probably we can define our own rights and wrongs... but we simply don't because we fear losing.. the risk is high...
The technology freak concludes ... Hmmm.. Blindly beleiving is called having a strong gut!! You feel and know it is true. Each one has a life in common but each life has a different soul. Societies and circumstances are just another set of souls, we make the society. If I beleive it is true. It is. :)
